250 SchülerInnen eines Gymnasiums aufgerüttelt! / 250 Students of a Gymnasium Stirred Up!

Mit dem Stück  #werbinich? konnten wir zusammen mit dem Präventionstheater ComicOn! am Montag, den 17.6.24, 250 Schüler der 8. und 9. Klassen des Kaiserin- Augusta Gymnasium in der Kölner Stadtmitte aufrütteln.

Ist es wirklich wert, sich in den sozialen Medien zu präsentieren und keine Empathie mehr für unsere Freunde drumherum zu haben? Wer bin ich eigentlich? Welche Meinung habe ich? Gibt es nichts Wichtigeres als die Anzahl an Likes? Ernste, antisemitische Themen sind zu langweilig… lieber den Kopf wieder in die Kamera und ab auf Insta, WhatsApp oder YouTube… Wir schämen uns für neu gewonnene Beziehungen und aus Eifersucht posten wir Unwahrheiten oder indiskrete Informationen. Der gemobbte Schüler taucht ab oder hat er doch Suizid begangen? Das Ende bleibt offen – mit Absicht?! Interessant, dass die Schüler des Gymnasiums genau danach fragen. Ach, doch besorgt! Es gibt noch Hoffnung.

Die Schauspielerin Dora war zum letzten Mal dabei. Danke, dass Dora bei den von uns unterstützten Theaterstücken oft dabei war, sie war wie die „Würze in der Suppe“. Herzlichen Dank! Wir wünschen ihr alles erdenklich Gute für die Zukunft.

Jedes Präventionstheaterstück trägt dazu bei, Schüler für die Kommunikation über soziale Medien zu sensibilisieren. Wichtige Botschaften werden vermittelt und gefestigt. Unser Club ist stolz darauf, dieses bedeutsame Projekt gemeinsam mit ComicOn! unterstützen zu können.

With the play #werbinich? (Who am I?), we were able to shake up 250 students from the 8th and 9th grades of Kaiserin- Augusta Gymnasium in downtown Cologne on Monday, June 17, 2024, together with the prevention theater ComicOn!.

Is it really worth presenting ourselves on social media and losing empathy for our friends around us? Who am I really? What is my opinion? Is there nothing more important than the number of likes? Serious, antisemitic topics are too boring… better to put our heads back in front of the camera and off to Insta, WhatsApp, or YouTube… We are ashamed of newly formed relationships and out of jealousy, we post falsehoods or indiscreet information. The bullied student disappears or did he commit suicide? The ending remains open – on purpose?! Interesting that the students of the gymnasium ask exactly that. Oh, but they are concerned! There is still hope.

The actress Dora was there for the last time. Thank you, Dora, for often being part of the plays we supported; you were like the “spice in the soup.” Thank you very much! We wish her all the best for the future.

Each prevention theater play helps to sensitize students to communication via social media. Important messages are conveyed and reinforced. Our club is proud to support this significant project together with ComicOn!.
