„Elektronisches Hänseln“ ist selbstverständliche eine emotionale Gewalt / "Electronic teasing" is, of course, emotional violence

Now ComicOn! was on 03.06.2022, with the program UpDate Sexting at the start.
Scene of the crime; Georg-Büchner-Gymnasium, Cologne.
We encounter cyberbullying not only via the personal computer (PC), but also via the smartphone.
All areas of our lives have shifted to the Internet, and so it is not surprising that the vulnerability can also be electronic in origin.
In order to strengthen the digital resilience of our children, the Club-Römertum is forcing its project "Active against Cybermobbing" - for a vigilant approach to digital media.
This time the assembly hall of the school was well visited. 200 students from the 8th and 11th grades attended the play of Comic On!.  The students of grade 11 are sensitized in dealing with the digital world with their performance subject of pedagogy with the main topic "social media" and are accompanied by pedagogues who have completed the training as media scouts.
The great interest and lively participation indicated that the students were already aware of the topic. Or, to put it another way: that there was a need for students to address the issue of the "dangers from the worldwideweb" exists among the youngest members of our society.
For the Georg-Büchner-Gymnasium it was the 3rd event with different program contents. Program contents of ComicOn! which we were able to support financially.
We have achieved our ambitious goal of helping all students in Cologne schools from the 6th grade onwards to be more vigilant in their use of digital media with another school and performance.
We would like to thank the school management at this point for thanking our club for the social commitment to the youngest of our society with regard to digital education. We wish the Georg-Büchner Gymnasium a successful and joyful implementation of the use of social media.
As a club, we are also committed to the "mental health" of our society and look forward to getting closer to our goal with each and every event in the schools of Cologne.
